This is good for businesses who want complete and granular control of their ventures. The downside is that you will have to spend additional resources and manpower to pull this off the right way.

In cloud-hosted e-commerce platforms, when you sign up to the service, your website will automatically be hosted in one of their hosting services (which is, as you can guess, is hosted by a cloud-based solution).

The beauty of cloud-based e-commerce platforms is the fact that you can enjoy amazing server uptime and it can handle huge loads of traffic.
